Modutec are recruiting for multiple roles for a contract in Dubai. The project is aiming to kick off in June and will be a 26 month contract Rates TBC.

Job Objective: 

  • To ensure that the quality of service and tasks responsible for and undertaken are in accordance with Industry Legislative Requirements and Company Policy, Procedure and
    adopted Standards.
  • To participate in the overall delivery of the Company objectives, whilst implementing Operational procedures in line with Company standards and individual project requirements.
  • Projects Manager has overall responsibility for projects as per Contractor’s way of operation
    from initiation to close out.

Responsibilites:

  • Compliance with and commitment to Modutec Policies and IMS System.
  • Carry out any specific Emergency Response duties in accordance with the Modutec IMS System.
  • Apply Modutec QHSE Procedures in their daily activities and report any non-conformances or suggested improvements to the Reporting Manager or the QHSE Department.
  • Ensure full awareness of all aspects and procedures within the internal IMS System and subsequent updates
  • Fully support all aspects of the Modutec Company Values at all times.

Responsible for: 

  • Assign Project Engineer
  • Gather information and handover project documents to PE
  • Provide infrastructure required for the project
  • Assign resources to project as required
  • Assist PE to ensure receipt of timely supports and services from functional departments, required for projects
  • Conduct status review meetings with PE and various functional department heads on progress, schedule and costs
  • Approval of purchases and subcontracts up to certain levels as per Contractor policies
  • Conflict management at department levels
  • Promote QHSE throughout Contractor operation
  • Develop project specific management /execution plan
  • Arrange project kick off meetings internally and with Company
  • Manage, update & distribute project scope of work & project documents as relevant.
  • Manage and liaise with Company and third-party representatives
  • Establish effective communications between stakeholders of the project especially Company, senior management and personnel within the project organization.
  • Liaise closely with functional department managers to ensure all aspects of the project are controlled and executed in a safe and timely manner
  • Review, monitor and control project progress and schedule with planning, monitoring and control team
  • Hold regular progress status review meetings with Company and project personnel
  • Project integration management
  • Project Interface Management
  • Promote HSEQ at all activities of projects
  • Plan and finalize subcontract works required to be given away for project success
  • Approve purchase requests and purchase orders as per Contractor policies
  • Manage and liaise with subcontractors
  • Review, monitor and control project costs and variation with the help of cost control department
  • Change control and management
  • Conduct close out meeting and issue close out report with lessons learned

Experience/Education:

  • Engineering Graduate or Equivalent.

     

  • 5 years minimum documented experience as a Project Manager in the Oil & Gas fabrication and / or Offshore Engineering industry preferred.

  • Good leadership / Strong communicational skills / Decision making / Team player.
